Vancouver, Patsy Worrall and Della Smith of QUAY Strategies Inc. and QUAY Life Sciences Inc. announced they will be closing the two companies as of August 31, 2009.

The two principals are moving on to the next phase of their careers. Della is going to fulfill a life long desire to write a book. While writing her book, Della will continue to dedicate her client time to facilitation, workshops and media training. And, in celebration of Patsy's 50th year (no, this is not a midlife action), she will be taking a well-deserved sabbatical. Never having done that venerable trip in her twenties, Patsy is looking for a short break to recharge and to contemplate her next career - helping an organization exceed its communication goals through the creation and delivery of strategic programs.

"After 15 great years, it was a hard decision to close up shop, particularly when business is so good," stated Worrall, "But when you reach a certain milestone; you are ready for new challenges." "We have enjoyed some amazing client and employee relationships," added Smith, "and look forward to helping them all transition over the next three months."
